Senator William T. Stachowski Receives Villa Maria’s 2010 Founder’s Medal
Senator William T. Stachowski was awarded the Villa Maria College 2010 Founder’s Medal, awarded to an outstanding person or group in Western New York to recognize significant contributions to the community that includes Villa Maria College. Villa Maria’s President Sister Marcella Marie Garus, CSSF and Villa Maria College’s Board Chairperson David M. Gelia, joined Senator Stachowski before presenting diplomas to the graduating class of 2010 at the College’s 46th Commencement Ceremony. Baccalaureate and associate’s degrees were conferred upon those who successfully completed their range of academic programs. Ceremonies were held in the student auditorium located on the College's campus in Buffalo. |
