Senator William T. Stachowski (D 58th) welcomed over 240 citizens, elected officials and New York State Agency representatives who attended the Federal Stimulus Town Hall Forum at the Cheektowaga Senior Citizen Center, Saturday, March 21st.

"The turnout was as good as I could have hoped for," said Senator Stachowski. "Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith arranged for these Town Hall Forums across the State and I and Senator Thompson were proud to host the one held in my District," added Stachowski. Some fifteen state agencies were represented and available for one-on-one questions from those in attendance.

"All of the answers are not yet available, but this gave many in our area a chance to get some of the information they have been looking for to plan their 2009 and 2010 budgets," said Senator Stachowski. "As more information becomes available we will do our best to make it availabe to those in our districts who count on this funding."
