Senator William Stachowski visited the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers #41 Green Jobs Training Center Open House on both Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th in Orchard Park. The IBEW, the National joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee and the National Electrical Contractors Association have developed some of the most advanced green-jobs training programs and facilities in the United States. These groups have invested over $140 million in renewable energy training since the program began.

"I have always supported the IBEW #41 and have enjoyed visiting their Training Center Open House the past two days," said Senator Stachowski. "The training by the IBEW allows students to immediately begin to earn money as they work in the apprentice program so they earn as they learn."
