Stachowski Endorsed by Tom Golisano’s
Responsible New York Organization

State Senator William Stachowski was one of 13 candidates endorsed by Tom Golisano’s Responsible New York organization. The list of endorsed candidates was announced on August 21^st and included five Democrats and five Republicans running for the New York Senate as well as three State Assembly candidates.

“The endorsement by Tom Golisano’s Responsible New York organization is significant,” stated Senator Stachowski. “Tom Golisano is a registered Republican who co-founded the Independence Party and has just recently become a strong financial supporter of the host committee for the Democratic National Convention. The Responsible New York Organization was formed to fight for the tax payers of New York which is my primary focus in representing the 58^th district. Tom Golisano has crossed party lines to select the candidates he feels best represent the interests of the tax payers of this fine state and I am honored to have received his endorsement,” said Stachowski.

Senator Stachowski has served the constituents of the 58^th district since 1981 and is the ranking minority member of the State Finance Committee.

The Responsible New York Organization conducted its own research and polling in selecting the candidates that were endorsed.
